The Reporting Consultant works closely with the client’s project team to design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards within the Workday system to help clients understand their data and make informed decisions. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their reporting needs, translating those needs into technical specifications, and ensuring reports are accurate, efficient, and secure. As a Workday expert, customers will benefit from your knowledge as you share your experience, identify key considerations, and highlight standard methodologies.

Primary responsibilities of this role include delivering various services to Workday Success Plans customers. To be successful, this requires:
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business users to understand their reporting needs and identify potential reporting solutions.
Translate business requirements: Convert business needs into technical specifications for reports.
Gather and analyze client reporting requirements: Understand what data is needed and how it should be presented.
Troubleshooting product configuration to resolve or provide optimal product configuration to meet customer business requirements.
Clearly and effectively communicating responses and value to customers.
Completing and maintaining product expertise and Workday Certification(s) along with familiarity with Workday roadmap.
Keeping up to date with industry practices and the ability to engage with our customers on those topics.
Create custom reports: Design and develop reports using Workday's Report Writer and other tools.
Develop and maintain technical documentation: Document the reports and their functionalities.
Create dashboards and visualizations: Develop dashboards and visualizations to support financial analysis and other insights.
About You
Basic Qualifications (P2)
2+ years of experience with HR systems, including but not limited to Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards
2 + years of experience with data analysis using any or the following: Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools
Basic Qualifications (P3)
3+ years of experience with HR systems, including but not limited to Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards
3 + years of experience with data analysis using any or the following: Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools
Basic Qualifications (P4)
6+ years of experience with HR systems, including but not limited to Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards
6 + years of experience with data analysis using any or the following: Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools
Other Qualifications
Passion for customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
Experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required. Advanced degree preferred
Workday Certification, or ability to certify in, at least one of the following: Record to Report, HCM, Talent, Recruiting, Absence, Payroll
Software consulting experience and previous implementation experience is preferred
