The Workday Revenue Accounting team balances critical thinking with operational excellence that helps guide and scale team operations to support the company strive towards $10B of revenue and beyond. Responsibilities:
Learning: This individual will collaborate with subject matter experts in Revenue Accounting, Deal Structuring, and Sales Commissions to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Revenue Accounting function. While a specific background in Revenue Accounting is not required, a fundamental knowledge of Accounting is vital to facilitate a rapid learning curve within the Revenue team.
Project Management: This person will drive projects and workstreams across both Accounting and Finance, with a focus on closing critical gaps. While formal PMO experience isn’t required, the person should have a strong understanding of stakeholder management and driving projects to closure.
Portfolio Management: This role will help the leadership team balance the implementation of change initiatives and the maintenance of business-as-usual activities, with the ability to “zoom out” and understand how daily activities are impacting the strategic direction of the organization.
Operational Excellence: The Revenue Accounting team supports workmates across the world, with teammates in 4 different hubs. This person will help identify process gaps across sites, while identifying solutions and a path to closure. You will need to be highly organized, keeping the Revenue Accounting organization “moving forward” on critical workstreams despite anticipated business disruptions.
About You
Required Qualifications:
10+ years related experience in Revenue / Technical Accounting.
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance.
Other Qualifications
Experience with SaaS / Technology industry preferred.
CPA with Big 4 experience preferred.
A highly productive self-starter with very strong work ethic.
Strong accountability and detail oriented; prepares accurate and timely work product.
Ability to work independently and thrive, and be a team player.
Strong interpersonal, communication and messaging skills.
Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
Capable of moving between a variety of roles with ease with working with cross functional teams.
Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce, Apttus, and experience using Workday and RPA.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
