About the Team

As a member of our diverse and skilled Presales team you will have the opportunity to learn new and demonstrate existing skills while being challenged daily. On a typical day, your tasks will include connecting the business needs of prospective clients with Workday solutions by crafting high-quality, contextual content and delivering creative and engaging presentations that will help our customers transform and streamline their business to reach the strategic goals and tackle business challenges. Our team is vertically aligned on industries and you would have the opportunity of focusing on Financial Services or Public Sector customers.

About the Role

In this role, you will use and further develop your presentation abilities, collaborative presales experience, and HCM expertise to articulate and differentiate the value for, and expand the adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS).

  • Our Presales teams are strategically collaborating with the sales organization: responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday solution and differentiators as part of a value selling approach.

  • You will be equipped to provide in-depth HCM product knowledge to the sales teams and the customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations, with main focus on employee engagement, talent, people analytics, recruiting and learning.

  • Assist in assessing potential application of Workday solutions to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions while showcasing the value of our solution.

  • Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.

  • Assist with responding to prospect Request for Proposals on an as needed basis.

Presales will equip you with skills such as:

  • Domain expertise and experience in HCM and cross ERP functions.

  • Strong presentation skills -– including focused software demonstration techniques, sales messaging and storytelling.

  • Proven experience with various internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on the Chief Human Resources Office (CHRO).

  • Problem solving skills to address prospect concerns and requirements and craft creative solutions.

  • Value based selling (value led approach) in a Presales / Sales Consulting environment.

  • Strong technical and industry knowledge to assist with solutioning and problem solving.

  • Tight-knit collaboration and team spirit, working across various lines of business and partners to achieve positive customer outcomes, to become a trusted adviser and valued contributor both internally and externally.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years experience demonstrating initiative and committed results, preferably in HCM domain as HR practitioner or sales/presales of HCM suite.

  • 2+ Working experience and good understanding of topics including employee engagement, talent, employee experience, recruiting and learning.

Other Qualifications:

  • Solution Consulting / Consulting experience with HCM enterprise business solutions a plus.

  • Financial Services or Public Sector industry expertise is highly attractive

  • Previous work experience in storytelling.

  • Professional experience in a Pre-Sales / Sales Consulting / HR role

  • Expertise knowledge of administrative systems around HR

  • An understanding of Cloud-based HCM SaaS solutions is desired

  • Experience of presenting administrative computing solutions in front of a technical and business audience

  • strong functional experience

  • Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple projects

  • Strong presentation skills
